For many years, GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik has been refurbishing primarily self-propelled harvesters at its factory. Due to the continuous growth of this business division, the company decided to build a new, modern used machinery centre at the Niedersachsenpark in Rieste.
In just a few months, a 5,500 square metre building was constructed, featuring a spacious workshop area, a covered washing bay and an office block. As planned, the Damme-based family business was able to become operational in the summer of 2026 with a workforce of more than 30 employees.
“The new centre is primarily used for reconditioning used machinery, but it also supports the testing and validation of our numerous prototypes, for which the capacity at the Damme site is no longer sufficient. Furthermore, our GRIMME Manufaktur draws on the extensive expertise of the staff when bottlenecks arise. We are very proud of this team, which has already accomplished a brilliant job and will continue to do so in the future,” explains Christoph Grimme.
